Mood: Tired

I got so much dope yarn for this holiday season omg. Look at it.

Clockwise from the top left: Unforgettable in Pearly, Creme Cotton in Mustard, Creme Cotton in Cream, Unforgettable in Polo, Hushabye Solid in Toy Elephant, Unforgettable in Gossamer. I'm going to use all of these to make My Little Secret Crops. Yes, I am going to make six of the same crop top. How can I not? They're so cute and they go good with everything. I go through a lot of aesthetic changes--the autistic stereotype of wearing the same outfit doesn't apply to me at all, except I guess for having blue hair--and I need versatile staples that will look good. Right now I'm in like a 90s throwback-ish phase but with big hoops, sweatpants and leggings, and hoodies. Last month it was fall boho stuff like long sweaters and autumn colors. I change my style literally every month for no reason and most of my hobby time revolves around accommodating my ridiculousness lol.

I wrote the first draft of my methodology section of my thesis today. Holy shit writing about methodology just is not for me. It's really boring and pedantic. I feel the same way as I do writing recipes. I hate writing recipes. I only do these things because I have to. I spent most of the day thinking the weather hadn't affected me at all and feeling really good, not in a lot of pain, worked out this morning--and then my entire energy was sapped from me like an hour ago out of nowhere. So we'll see what that all is about I guess.

Super good news on the Siren front. We took her to the podiatrist to have her dressings changed, and the incision site and stitches look totally fine. She literally skipped into the podiatrist's office omg. He wanted to have the stitches left in another week, so she's gonna have to go to school at least for one day with her foot brace, but I think all kids kinda like the special attention that undergoing something weird and medical gives them. Now she can show off her bandages and her brace to all her classmates.
